Tasting notes
Nose: Initial sweet notes of raisins and dates, reminiscent of the Oloroso sherry wine, work seamlessly in tandem with the pot still spices creating balance, while the Spanish oak adds further depth with notes of toasted wood and soft waves of vanilla.
Taste: Mouth coating with a treacle-like texture, mild nuttiness and dried fruit character with the tannins evolving over time adding a slightly dry note along with roasted coffee beans and dark chocolate.
Finish: The pot still spices linger while the fruit sweet character fades, leaving the oak tannins continue to the very end.
